Quick-Start Guide
With the powerful PINK Rio CITY WAX, you can remove hair from small and large body areas from just 3 mm in length – without strips and much more comfortably than with conventional waxes. For optimal results, follow these steps:
1. HEAT THE WAX
- Fill the wax beads into a warmer up to a third or halfway.
- Heat the PINK Depilatory Heater 200 ml, 450 ml, or 800 ml to around 40 °C (level 4) for 20 minutes and then stir well.
- At the right temperature, the wax has a honey-like consistency. It can be easily formed at the tip of the spatula, does not drip from the spatula, and does not string.
- The wax should be stirred regularly to ensure even temperature.
2. PRE-TREAT THE SKIN
- First, clean the skin with 1-2 pumps of PINK SkinClean Lotion and a cotton pad. For large areas, use 2 pumps of PINK SkinClean Foam.
- For very sweaty skin, apply a thin layer of PINK Skin Powder with a cotton pad and rub it in.
3. APPLY THE WAX
- Depending on the size of the patches, use the wooden spatulas Small, Medium, or Large.
- Apply the wax with good pressure using a wooden spatula, stretch the skin well, and work consistently in one direction.
- Hold the spatula upright like a pen. This creates a slightly thicker edge that later serves as a „handle“ for pulling off the wax.
- Several patches can be applied simultaneously. Size and shape vary depending on the skin area.
4. REMOVE THE WAX
- Wait about 10 seconds until the patches have hardened.
- The patches remain very flexible on the skin for a long time and do not break.
- Pull off the patches against the direction of hair growth along the skin (do not pull up).
- Immediately apply gentle counterpressure with your hand after removal.
5. POST-TREAT THE SKIN
- Apply some PINK AfterCare Cream to disinfect the skin, provide intensive moisture, soothe, and support the hair follicles in closing. For a cooling effect and to reduce redness, finish the treatment with PINK SkinCool Gel. Avoid the eye area.
- Apply 1-2 pumps of antibacterial PINK SilverCare Spray for very sensitive and allergy-prone skin and let it absorb.
